Do I have to connect my work email?
No. Penpal.work runs entirely on Bcc:. You can use it for years without ever connecting your work inbox. The optional Gmail connection (Pro plan) adds automatic reply detection, but everything else works without it.
Will my IT department flag this?
No. We don't connect to your corporate email server. We don't access your inbox. We don't appear in any IT audit. From their perspective, you're just Bcc:'ing an external email address — which you do every day on regular customer emails.
What if I use Outlook?
Bcc: works identically in Outlook. Penpal.work is fully functional with Outlook today. Automatic reply detection for Outlook is on the roadmap — until then, replies are logged with one click in the dashboard or by forwarding your customer's reply to the Bcc: address.
